Fairhope Volunteer Fire Department

The Explorers are a group of young men or women, ages 14 - 21, whose main function is to support the Fire Department.  This program was started in partnership with the Boy Scouts of America.  They are governed by state law as to how much they can do on the fire ground. The Explorers however do train with members of the the department. This Program is a very fine way for young men and women to become part of the department and to learn the basics of firefighting.
